Narrating the Past Lecture with Dr Kyra Giorgi

Researcher and author Dr Kyra Giorgi will discuss the role narrative fiction has in a nation coming to terms with its past in this free talk. 

Dr Giorgi will focus on the intersecting histories of Australia, Timor-Leste and Portugal in the 1970's as she draws from her research in the Library's collections for her novel in progress.

Dr Kyra Giorgi is an independent researcher and writer of fiction and non-fiction.

Dr Giorgi is the 2019 Creative Arts Fellowship for Australian Writing supported by the Ray Mathew and Eva Kollsman Trust.
