Commonwealth approval for light rail facing further delays

A federal government decision on whether to approve the first stage of light rail to Woden has been delayed until at least next week.

A decision was originally due on January 13, before the deadline was extended to today.

The timeframe to deliver a decision has now been extended again to February 3.

The project is already facing significant delays and construction is now unlikely to begin this year.
