Woman kidnapped and thrown down embankment in the Snowy Mountains

A woman has been kidnapped and thrown down an embankment in the Snowy Mountains.

Police say the 75 year old was taken by a man she knows, towards Talbingo mountain, and pushed down a four meter cliff.

She has bruises on her face, and deep cuts to her arms and legs.

Police are searching for the man.
