Unemployment rises in the ACT

Latest figures from the ABS have revealed an increase to unemployment in the ACT from .7 per cent to 4.4 per cent.

It bucks a national trend, but the unemployment rate in the Territory still remains below the national average of 6.4 per cent.

A number of Australians remain concerned about their long term work prospects, with the Job Keeper payments winding down from March.
