New health orders for people flying to Canberra from Melbourne

A new Public Health Direction has been issued in the ACT this morning following the recent surge in coronavirus cases in Victoria.

Anyone identified as having been in one of Melbourne's COVID-19 hotspots will be required to quarantine in the territory for 14 days at their own expense, or return home immediately.

Liberal MLA Mark Parton suspended from ACT Legislative Assembly

Liberal MLA Mark Parton has been suspended from the ACT Legislative assembly over a series of videos on social media.

The Videos were posted to Tik Tok, a platform frequently used by younger Australians.

Red Hill man to face court on multiple fraud charges

A 30-year-old Red Hill man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on fraud charges after he illegally obtained more than $700,000.

The man faces 156 counts of obtaining property by deception and 78 counts of false representation of a Commonwealth official.
