The official State of Alert has been lifted in the ACT, with the Orroral Valley bushfire now being controlled.

The ACT ESA is now planning for containment operations, which will take place later this week.

The man accused of shooting a woman in the head as she sat in her car in Forrest last year has pleaded not guilty to 11 charges.
