Snow could fall in Canberra later this week, as the mercury continues to plummet.

The Bureau of Meteorology says we could see a dusting of white stuff above 800 metres, with the potential for snow on parts of Mount Ainslie, Mount Majura and Black Mountain.

Pilot dies in light plane crash near Braidwood

A light aircraft has crashed at Braidwood East of Canberra killing the pilot who was the only occupant on board.
The single-engine aircraft went down near the Nerriga Bridge.
The crash happened just after midday today.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Police slam reckless driver behavior

Two people will most likely lose their driver licences following reckless behaviour on ACT roads.

On Sunday afternoon, a provisional motorbike rider was clocked doing 130 in an 80 zone on Drakeford Drive at Kambah.
