Dangerous Pialligo Avenue crash under investigation

Police have begun investigating a dangerous two-car crash on Pialligo Avenue.

Yesterday morning at around 6:30, a grey Ford utility collided with a maroon Toyota Camry and one of the drivers was left with serious injuries.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash....

Convicted Canberra drug trafficker loses home

A convicted Canberra drug trafficker will lose his home, with a court ordering it be sold under proceeds of crime law.

47-year-old Gregory King pleaded guilty to trafficking charges after more than 8kg of cannabis was found in his house in 2015.

He's been sentenced to 18 months in prison with a 30-month good behaviour bond.

David Eastman's retrial for murder pushed back to next year

David Eastman's retrial for the shooting murder of Colin Winchester has been pushed back until next year.

Eastman spent 19 years in jail for shooting dead Federal Police Commissioner Winchester in 1989.
