Pollen season in Canberra has kicked off with an extreme start. We've already had a number of days of high pollen levels with experts believing there's still more to come.

Seven months after the out of control back burn at Namagdi National Park, the United Firefighters Union is still asking why there's been no review. The blaze east of Potters Hill was under control within a couple of days and no one injured.

ACT roads ninth fatality
A man has died at the weekend after being hit by a bus on the ACT NSW border, bringing the Territory's road toll to 9. The man was hit by a bus on the southbound carriageway of the Federal highway on Saturday night just before 10 pm. 
 
Paramedics tried to revive the man in his 20s, but he died at the scene.
