Two brumbies have reportedly been shot with arrows near Cooma.

Police in NSW say one of the horses was killed after suffering arrow wounds to the stomach, while a grey colt walked away into the bush after being hit in the shoulder.

ACT Policing gun and equipment stolen in Fraser

A gun and other equipment have been stolen from an Australian Federal Police vehicle in Fraser on Wednesday.

Officers conducted an extensive search but were unable to find the gun and equipment.

Speed continues to be an issue with 436 P plate drivers issued an infringement notice for speeding this year.
