Queanbeyan teen gets five months behind bars for violent attack
A Queanbeyan teenager has been jailed for a violent attack on his former partner. He kicked the victim in the head while she held their infant daughter, which caused the mother's head to collide with the baby's which then hit and cracked a window.

ACT roads ninth fatality
A man has died at the weekend after being hit by a bus on the ACT NSW border, bringing the Territory's road toll to 9. The man was hit by a bus on the southbound carriageway of the Federal highway on Saturday night just before 10 pm. 
 
Paramedics tried to revive the man in his 20s, but he died at the scene.
