A development plan by the Murrumbidgee Country Club has been met with dismay from Kambah residents.

Australian War Memorial marks WWI centenary with 62,000 poppies

The Australian War Memorial lawn is now home to 62,000 hand crafted wool poppies.

The poppies pay tribute to the sacrifice of the men who fought and died in World War I and is part of the lead up to the 100th anniversary of Armistice.

Police are asking for the public's help to identify two men who robbed a Subway in Wanniassa last month.

On Friday, August 31st, the armed offenders entered the restaurant in Erindale around 8.45pm, demanding and receiving cash.
