How Much Does Eating Out Costs Canberrans?


Canberrans spend the least on fast food and restaurant, second to the Northern Territory. According to data from Commonwealth Bank, we spend on average $75 on fast food and nearly $110 on restaurants a month.

Belconnen residents are spending the most a month on fast food, while diners eating out in Kingston spent the most per visit....

Newest Suburb to Honour Former Prime Minister Edward Gough Whitlam

Canberra's latest suburb is honouring a former Australian Prime Minister.Whitlam is the newest area in the Molongolo Valley District.

Concerns Held For Missing Woman

Police are searching for missing Canberra woman Emma Saunders.

The 30-year-old was last seen on Saturday afternoon in Wanniassa and is believed to have visited Turner and Belconnen later that day.

Emma's described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, around 185 centimetres tall, of a medium build with brown eyes and dark hair.
