Group arrested over stolen packages in Gungahlin

Three people have been arrested over a number of property thefts in Gungahlin.

The group was allegedly spotted stealing packages left outside homes in Casey, Nicholls and Taylor yesterday afternoon.

Police later apprehended the trio at the Bonner shops, where one of the men allegedly assaulted a police officer.

Gun shot allegedly fired at Speed Camera Van

A gun has allegedly been fired at a mobile speed camera detection van in the ACT.

The incident occurred at about 9.40pm on Monday last week, where one bullet struck the sign fixed to the top of the van.
