Catholic school teachers tipped to strike over work conditions

A strike looks to be looming for Canberra Catholic school teachers as a dispute over working conditions ramps up.

The Independent Education Union is working to secure a new employment agreement for teachers at 29 Catholic schools across the capital.

ANZAC Day dawn service attracts crowd of 38,000

Man refused bail for attacking neighbour with a knife

A man's been refused bail in the ACT Magistrates Court for attempting to stab his neighbour over a noise complaint.

On Sunday last week, police allege 60-year-old Pando Zdravevski beat at the door of his neighbour's unit in Lyneham with a shovel, threatened to kill him and sliced at him with a knife.
