Inquiry will be held into John Lloyd complaint

Public service commissioner John Lloyd is under investigation for breaching the code of conduct less than two months before he leaves the role.It was decided yesterday that an inquiry into the complaint should be conducted, even though it will be dropped if it remains unfinished when Mr Lloyd retires in August.

Katy Gallagher takes a job with Calvary Hospital

Former ACT Senator Katy Gallagher has taken a job with Calvary Hospital. Ms Gallagher is working for the Little Company of Mary Health Care and may have a role in negotiating the hospital's funding agreement with the ACT Government.

Kangaroo cull finished

All reserves and unleased land has reopened to the public today following the ACT Government's kangaroo cull.

Over 3,200 kangaroos were culled - 1,822 in the ACT and 1,431 across the Googong foreshores in NSW.

ACT Parks and Conservation says the cull was undertaken without incident....

Unlikely duo on display

The National Zoo and Aquarium's unlikely friendship is now on public display.

Solo, a cheetah cub and puppy friend Zama have moved into their new, on display home at the Rhino Bistro.

The two struck up a friendship after they were introduced because the cheetah cub had no siblings.
