The ACT has recorded its tenth road fatality for 2024 following a single-cyclist collision in Kambah.
About 5.10pm (Sunday, 25 November 2024), police received a report that a cyclist on an e-bike was riding on a bike path adjacent to Athllon Drive and had collided with a wall at an underpass.
Emergency services treated the 66-year-old rider at the scene, but he was sadly declared deceased a short time later.
ACT Road Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
