The ACT has recorded its second road fatality for 2025 following a collision between a bus and motorcycle

About 8am on Tuesday (11 March 2025), police and emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a bus and motorcycle at the intersection of the Barton Highway and Gold Creek Road in Nicholls.

The 22-year-old female motorcyclist was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Sadly, she was declared deceased on Friday.

ACT Road Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
