New figures reveal, the cases of whooping cough across the A.C.T. and nearby NSW regions have exploded, as population immunity wanes.
Infact, Canberra and the NSW Southern region have seen an increase in cases, mainly in school aged children and teenagers.
A.C.T. Health has warned, infants were at the greatest risk.
The warning comes as officials also raise concerns about an increase in reported cases of RSV and the flu across Canberra.
