Workers from the ACT have helped restore gas to Lithgow Hospital, following an outage in several parts of the state.

A damaged pipeline has affected gas supplies in New South Wales Central West including Bathurst, Wallerawang and Oberon – impacting businesses and public services.

As of yesterday afternoon, around 75 per cent of make safes had been restored in Lithgow, but residents could be without gas for weeks.
