Chief Minister ANDREW BARR says Canberra is leading the charge in the uptake of zero and low emission vehicles.
The A.C.T. chief minister has taken to social media to release a statement.
He says – last year, more than 17% of all new registered vehicles in the ACT were Zero Emmission Vehicles (ZEVs).
Andrew Barr goes on to say – There were also many low emission hybrids and plug in hybrids sold too.
The statement reads:- An extra 3,564 zero emission vehicles appeared on ACT roads in 2023, that’s almost 10 every day.
He says The top-selling car was:
Tesla Model Y;
Tesla Model 3; and
BYD Atto 3.
