Officials are keeping an eye on Canberra’s worst suburbs for renters.

It comes in the wake of details, released earlier this year, in which the A.C.T. actually fared better than other jurisdictions across Australia, when it comes to the worst suburbs for renters.

It was all part data, involving the Suburb trends’ RENT PAIN INDEX.

PHILLIP, PALMERSTON, O’CONNOR and BARTON were listed as the worst suburbs for renters in Canberra.

The A.C.T.’s vacancy rate has jumped up a bit.. while rents increased about two percent over a 12 month period. – but still, averaged better than other parts of Australia.
