Public Service jobs in Canberra are at risk of getting axed, if the opposition wins Government at the upcoming Federal Election.

Federal Opposition leader PETER DUTTON has confirmed, he’d cut public service jobs in the A.C.T. if elected… and would re-purpose the funding, away from the national capital.

His comment comes as the Coalition continues to ramp up its attacks on the Commonwealth’s recent funding investments in Canberra based Public Service jobs.

Mr Dutton’s remarks were made on Adelaide talk radio.

Public Service Minister Katy Gallagher has in turn claimed – the opposition was targeting 36,000 jobs, and declared – public service would become an election issue
