An 86 year old man’s due back in court in September – after pleading not guilty to murdering his wife in Canberra.

The 78 year old woman was found dead at the the couple’s Gordon Home in early June – she’d been stabbed multiple times in the chest.

Police claim to have found a knife – as well as blood in the hallway, laundry and toilet.

The accused made a brief appearance in court on Friday – pleading NOT guilty to murder.

He’s due BACK in court in early September for a pre-hearing mention.
