ACT Refuses Norfolk Responsibility

The federal government has made a fresh request to the ACT to deliver services on Norfolk Island.

Since 2015 the federal government has been paying NSW to deliver health and education services since the island was revoked of self-governing arrangements.

The agreement is set to expire in 2021.

ACT Chief Minister ANDREW BARR has said he can see no benefit for the territory in taking on the responsibility.
