A new ACT government inquiry will examine plans to potentially expand renewable energy industries in Canberra.

The inquiry will look into how the ACT could potentially become a national leader in the sector in coming years.

As part of the examination the territory government’s own policies in the sector, including those on renewable energy, climate change and emissions reduction, will also be examined.
