A 22 year old Ainslie man has been charged with possessing child abuse material, following a tip off from a foreign law enforcement agency.

A search warrant was executed at the property on Tuesday, following a 7 month investigation.

Numerous electronic devices were seized, allegedly containing child abuse material.

The man has been charged with three counts of possessing child abuse material.

Police will oppose bail, additional charges are expected to be laid.
