A change of security operator comes into effect this weekend at Canberra airport, much to the continued protests of workers.

MSS Security takes over from THIS Saturday at Canberra airport, but some security staff will lose their jobs… while others will lose their existing pay and conditions…

The United Workers Union’s Lyndal Ryan has warned, there could be gaps in security staff from this weekend and had repeatedly called for airport management to step in and address the issue.

The change has already led to protest rallies outside Canberra Airport amid reports from other Australian outlets that MSS has a record of suppressing wages, bad faith bargaining and lax security controls.
