A 16 year old boy has appeared in the A.C.T. Children’s Court charged over the recent knifepoint car-jacking of a man in Calwell.

It’s alleged the teen punched the driver before threatening him with the knife and getting away with the man’s Ford Mustang.

The vehicle was later found bogged and it appears an attempt was made to set it on fire.

The 16 year old was eventually found and further charged with breaching bail,  robbery, drug driving and other road related offences.
