A man’s been ordered to undergo a mental assessment before making bail applications over charges he assaulted two women in Canberra.

The 31 year old from Phillip appeared in the A.C.T. Magistrates court yesterday

He did not enter any pleas – after being accused of assaltuing the women in MAWSON last Saturday afternoon, just 20 minutes apart.

It’s alleged he tried to pick them up and carry them away.

The magistrates ordered he be assessed by psychiatrists at the hospital before making a bail application… the case goes back to court at a later date.
