A woman’s due to return to the Queanbeyan Local Court next year, accused of stealing more than $700,000 from her employer, as well as secretly paying herself an additional salary.
The 32 year appeared in court on Monday to formally deny allegations of financial deception.
It’s alleged, the activity saw the woman create more than a hundred illegitimate invoices, nominating herself as the payment recipient… along with an additional salary totalling more than $55,000
Police also allege the then-employee fraudulently used a company card to purchase fuel in NSW and the ACT, totalling more than $9000.
The case has been set for mention in the New Year, with the Magistrate commenting…. “It’s going to be a big brief”.
