One of Canberra’s most respected doctors is questioning whether we’ve reached the peak of the Omicron wave in the Territory.

Modelling from Canberra Health Services indicated a Canberra peak on January 17.

However modelling only predicts the caseload and hospitalisation numbers three weeks in advance.

ACT AMA President Walter Abhayaratna says the prediction is optimistic.
