A music teacher from Palmerston District Primary School, has been nominated for the ARIA Music Teacher Award.

CJ Shaw is one of only four teachers nominated from around the nation, and is the first teacher from the ACT to ever be nominated for the award.

CJ Shaw says it was his principle who put his name forward.
