A woman’s been assaulted outside Canberra’s Floriade event.

Police say, a woman returned to her car to find three people spray painting the vehicle, the trio also allegedly assaulted the woman and smashed her phone during the incident.

The woman is an anti-Chinese Communist Party activist.

The incident is now being investigated as an alleged Chinese Communist Attack.

Police have released images of the trio allegedly responsible with all three Asian in appearance.

Anyone who can help identify them or witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
