Police are cracking down on motorists who break the road rules in Canberra – thanks to online reporting by civilians.

Police are actively following up footage of Canberra motorists breaking the law.

It could be NOT STOPPING at a red light – or even hoon or hazardous driving.

Already, 25 drivers have been punished in the past two months as police investigate 130 online reports.

Dashcam footage submitted online – has provided investigators with the ability to have eyes almost everywhere at anytime.
