Bail has been granted to a woman who’s accused of walking out onto the Tarmac at Canberra airport this week and shutting down the airfield.
It was revealed late Friday, she was being released into the custody of a family member, while she awaits the results of a mental health examination.
There are social media reports, suggesting she missed the flight to Adelaide – and went airside without permission.
Footage shows the woman walking up to a QantasLink aircraft on Wednesday night.
She was taken into custody by Federal Police and charged with two counts of damaging property.
The woman was further charged with entering a security zone without permission as well as possessing a small quantity of cannabis.
The woman is due back in court at a later date.
