Canberrans who use the Barton Highway are being warned of a speed limit reduction.

Many from the A.C.T. will be impacted when a section of the highway gets reduced to 80km/h… from the current 100k designated area.

It’ll be applied to a near 6km stretch… south of Murrumbateman road, to just past Gooda Creek road.

NSW Transport says it’s in response to a five year review, which involved 15 crashes – The change comes into force later this month.
