A man’s due to return to the A.C.T. Magistrates Court this month, accused of blackmailing his ex-partner, by threatening to publish intimate videos.

The 46 year old was refused bail when he appeared in court last week and did not formally enter any pleas to blackmail charges..

It’s alleged, graphic texts demanded money, or intimate videos would be published.

Police have already presented documents to the court to confirm a family violence order was in place, when the alleged blackmail took place in September and November last year.
