It looks unlikely that Bonza Airlines will be back in the air this week, however, administrators are still confident it’ll happen, sooner rather than later.

The fleet of the airline’s Boeing 737 jets have been repossessed by its American backer, which is now facing a lawsuit in the U.S. Alleging fraud in its dealings.

Those dealings by the Miami based company, appear to be the heart of Bonza’s collapse – and the airline was close to being purchased by an Australian investor, prior to being grounded.

Administrators say there are still multiple potential buyers  and have indicated Bonza CAN return to the skies.. but new aircraft could still be a while away.
