It’s been revealed, next week’s Federal Budget will include new funding for Canberra’s light rail Stage 2B project.

It’s reported, 50-million dollars will be set aside for Stage 2B… when the Federal Budget’s handed down next week.

An announcement’s expected later today from Finance Minister KATY GALLAGHER – to confirm all the trimmings

The cost of the project has not yet been finalised, but it’s expected to be built between 2028 and 2033.

Stage 2A’s expected to be completed by early 2028.
