The Canberra Institute of Technology’s looking to appeal a court ruling, in which it lost a multi-million dollar payout over the termination of his contract.

Patrick Hollingsworth says he’s been vindicated by the court ruling

It was a near five-million dollar contract over two years… signed in early 2022.

But it was suspended – and later terminated, just months later, – by the Institute’s chief executive LEANNE COVER.

Patrick Hollingsworth was successful in court on Friday, – for the institute to pay damages and court costs… valued at about 2.4 million dollars…

Since the win, Mr Hollingsworth has since declared, the his company was treated grossly unfairly by the institute, which is now reviewing possible avenues for appeal.
