Canberra’s Building Industry has doubled down on its opposition to limits being placed on dual occupancy developments.

The Master Builders A.C.T. Boss MICHAEL HOPSKINS – the A.C.T. Government needs to provide bolder reforms if it really wants to encourage greater housing choice in the territory.

He’s called for the Government’s plan – of 120sqm restrictions on dual occupancy dwellings to be scrapped… describing it as illogical.

He’s also made a raft of other suggestions that he says would help Canberra’s housing issues… preserve community values.. and build more diverse housing… as part of a bigger plan for the territory.
