The ACT Disabilities Minister has called for a permanent end to the trial of independent assessments for NDIS participants.

MLA Emma Davidson has welcomed federal minister Linda Reynolds’ call to pause the rollout of mandatory independent assessments, but has urged her to stop the controversial trial completely.

It comes as criticism from disability groups grows over the Morrison government’s planned overhaul of the $22 billion NDIS scheme.
