A 46 year old Campbell woman has been charged with 23 fraud offences after a search warrant was executed this morning.

The investigation was in relation to a child care facility in Weston.

The 46 year old woman was arrested and charged with 23 counts of obtaining property by deception to the value of more than $160,000.

Further investigations are ongoing into the misappropriation of funds, which is suspected to be in excess of $480,000.

Police expect to lay additional charges in coming weeks and do not believe anyone else was involved.
