Canberra Airport will play host today (Tuesday) to the second new aircraft-type for QantasLink.
It’s the new Airbus A-220 jet…. Registration VH-X4B which is flying in direct from Fiji to Canberra, before it officially begins its career with QantasLink.
And it’s been dubbed “KOALA” named after native Australian wildlife.
The jet itself is similar to the GREEN colour scheme that recently was flown into Australia
This jet however, has the traditional red colour-scheme for the flying kangaroo and is also expected to operate on the Canberra Melbourne route, among other services, when it officially enters the fleet.
The jet left Montreal at the weekend as flight QJE6075. As part of the so-called “Ferry” flight, it stopped in Vancouver, Honolulu and Nandi.
