It’s full steam ahead for a permanent “Centre for Disease Control” facility to be built in Canberra

It follows last week’s report into the government’s response involving the Covid Pandemic.

The report recommended a series of reforms across the public sector including an uplift in emergency management

A Canberra based C.D.C. was a critical recommendation with the Federal Government confirming it has allocated more than 250-million dollars to launch a national agency in Canberra by January 2026.

A location is yet to be finalised.
