Parts of Canberra’s south have recorded some decent rainfall overnight, with almost 20mm falling in Tuggeranong.

The northern suburbs missed out on the downpour, while just 3.2mm was recorded at Canberra Airport.

Heavy showers are expected to continue across the ACT for the rest of the week.

Up to 20mm could fall again today, with the chance of a thunderstorm.
