A new report shows a big drop in bulk-billing across Australia – but Canberra’s rates have dropped even further.

A survey by healthcare comparison site CLEAN-BILL” shows FEWER than a quarter of General Practitioners in Australia bulk bill all patients.

In Canberra – that figure is even lower, with only 3.8 percent… or just three clinics in the A.C.T. which offer full bulk billing.

It means more people are seeking help from public hospitals and clogging up the system.

Canberrans also face HIGHER out of pocket costs than the rest of the country….

The survey found, only Tasmanians pay more.
