A scare for passengers onboard a flight from Canberra to Brisbane.
Qantas flight 1908 left the national capital Friday night, but on approach to Brisbane, the pilot told passengers about a brake problem.
Multiple emergency vehicles raced were placed on standby.
The Embraer 190 jet landed on Brisbane Airport’s longest runway without issue.
It’s reported, the pilots were made aware of the brake issue when alerted to a warning light in the cockpit.
One passenger described the landing as “Smooth” and you wouldn’t have known the brakes had failed.
The incident remains under investigation.
