The ACT Greens are urging ACT Labor to work with their federal counterparts to deliver a faster rail connection from Canberra to Sydney.

Greens Spokesperson for Transport Jo Clay has succeeded in her bid to get the Government to work with their counterparts to deliver this project.

She has blamed inaction on the project on the previous federal and New South Wales Governments.

Ms Clay says this needs to be done now.
