Canberra will today play host to the National Remembrance Day Service.

Today marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I.

A national service will be held, from 11 this-morning, at Canberra’s Australian War memorial.

This year, the  Ceremony will return to the parade ground of the memorial after its on-going  development project.

Work continues atleast until 2028
