The A.C.T. has fared better than other jurisdictions when it comes to the worst suburbs for renters.

It was all part data, gathered earlier this year as part of the Suburb trends’ RENT PAIN INDEX.

PHILLIP, PALMERSTON, O’CONNOR and BARTON were listed as the worst suburbs for renters in Canberra.

However, the index found, the A.C.T. was better than other states and territories.

It’s found, Canberra’s vacancy rate has jumped up a bit.. while rents increased about two percent over a 12 month period.
