ACT Policing has issued a warning to Canberrans following reports of individuals going door to door claiming to be from the Department of Home Affairs.

These individuals may present fake documents from Home Affairs and request personal information or documents, biometric information like fingerprints or photos, or money.

The public are being told to not let them into your home, don’t share any personal information, money or financial details and to report the incident to your local authorities.
