It seems Canberrans are spending LESS – as the cost-of-living crisis, BITES !
A report, released earlier this week by Commbank, shows most A.C.T. locals are tightening their belts.
But the figures differ between age groups.
Those between 18 and 39 years of age reduced their spending on essential items, as well as their discretionary spend. However, if you’re above 70, there was an 8% increase in spending.
Overall, the figures revealed, Canberrans were spending less on clothing and household goods, in the past quarter.
