Canberra’s “Snail Mail” Gets Slower

Share:

From today, snail mail in Canberra is getting even slower…..

Many have described it as “An end of era” with letters being delivered every 2nd day instead of daily. By comparison, the U.S. Postal Services still has deliveries, six days a week.

Regional Australia is expected to be hardest hit according to Professor STEVEN GREENLAND from Charles Darwin University.

He says the cuts will create even greater delays, especially at Christmas.

Parcel delivery is now the focus –

Anyone in Canberra who wants immediate correspondence, is being advised E-MAIL is the most direct route.
