Canberra’s Victim Support

A new team has been established within the Human Rights Commission, to help bereaved families of someone involved in a car accident.

Victim Support ACT established the team, with staff providing engagement following the incident, including case coordination, liason with stakeholders and the facilitation of supports and advocacy.

Acting Victims and Crime Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission Margie Rowe says families are often traumatised as a result of these incidents.
